Have been to the DAISY Consortium 2009 Technical Conference in Leipzig over the past few days. It was very interesting meeting all the DAISY Family from around the world. Loads of useful information will benefit the Digital Audio Project in it’s last 5 months.

When creating a DAISY DTB, configure your DAISY software to record the audio at 90% rather than the default of 100% so that the audio levels are not clipped.

This can be done in Dolphin Easy Converter, Dolphin Easy Publisher, See screen shot below.

I haven’t found a way of doing this in DAISY Pipeline, but have logged it on the DAISY Pipeline forum. If you know a way of doing this within Pipeline, please let me know.
